This website is an authoratative resource of real-life wedding photography from the top wedding ceremony and reception venues in and around Tacoma, Washington, a medium-sized city located about 35 miles south of Seattle. All photography is by Wallflower Photography, Tacoma's premier wedding photography studio.
It's a little-known fact that Tacoma is home to some of the Puget Sound region's most incredible wedding venues. As one of the Pacific Northwest's first major cities, and initially one of its most successful, the Tacoma area features several venues of impressive history and turn-of-the-century opulence. Then, after suffering for decades from problems ranging from air pollution to gang warfare, the 21st Century has seen Tacoma enjoy an epic renaissance, with several new and unique wedding venues being just one result of massive urban improvement citywide.
As one of the Puget Sound region's leading wedding photography studios — and even rarer, one of the few who are proud to call Tacoma home — we at Wallflower Photography launched this website to celebrate the awesomeness of Tacoma's best wedding venues (as well as a few killer venues in Tacoma's neighboring cities of Lakewood and University Place). We're highlighting these wedding venues both for the good brides and grooms of Tacoma, and for those up north in the Seattle/Bellevue metropolis who are unaware of the excellent wedding venue options available to them just a short drive to the south. Unlike most wedding-related websites, we didn't take a dime from these venues to buy their way onto this exclusive list, and although we are happy to listen to their requests and suggestions, all writing and photo selections are ours alone.
